Here is how the work shapes up. Health and safety compliance in Colombia operates inside the Sistema General de Riesgos Laborales (SGRL). This needs that every crew member — local hire, expat, freelancer — be enrolled with an ARL (Administradora de Riesgos Laborales) before stepping on set.

Our team registers crew through SURA, Positiva, or Colmena depending on the production scale, then layers Cruz Roja Colombiana medical standby onto the day-out-of-days for any shoot involving stunts, water work, height work, vehicle action, or remote location filming. INVIMA food-safety certification is verified on every catering contract under Resolución 2674. On water-sensitive shoots — Pacific Chocó, Amazon (Leticia), the Caribbean coast — we add bottled-water logistics and reinforced cold-chain plans through Ministry of Health regional offices.

Altitude and tropical-disease protocols define a meaningful slice of our risk register. Bogotá at 2,640m and the Salt Cathedral at Zipaquirá near 3,100m demand acclimatization windows for incoming global crews, supplementary oxygen on rigging-heavy days, and HACE/HAPE briefings for any work that pushes into the Sierra Nevada, Ciudad Perdida, or the Andean páramo around Chingaza and Sumapaz. Pacific (Bahía Solano, Nuquí) and Amazon (Leticia) shoots need dengue, leishmaniasis, malaria prophylaxis, and yellow-fever proof-of-vaccination check-ins, plus ANP security advisory monitoring zone by zone.

We set up paramedic deployment, on-set medical kits, evacuation routing to Clínica Marly or Fundación Santa Fe in Bogotá and Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe in Medellín, and keep Resolución 666 COVID-era protocols where global counterparties still need them. Every set gets a written risk assessment, a documented safety briefing, and a closeout incident log that survives both DIAN audit and the global insurer's claims process.
