Here is the layout. Production comms in Colombia have to cover everything from a single-camera Cartagena Walled City day where Motorola CP200d UHF signals bounce off colonial masonry to a multi-unit Pacific Chocó feature spread across Bahía Solano and Nuquí where helicopter is the only access route. Frequency licensing routes through ANE (Agencia Nacional del Espectro) Colombia, with TX/RX licensing via ANE permit-blocks for production use. We file applications well in advance — lead times stretch during Carnaval de Barranquilla (February) and FICCI Cartagena (March) when RF and range saturation peak. Pacific Chocó comms have hard range limits because terrain blocks UHF, so we ship repeaters and brief sound mixers on the realistic coverage envelope before truck-day.
IFB packages cover global director feeds when the brief involves remote viewing from London, LA or Madrid. Do you handle frequency licensing in Colombia?
We coordinate all frequency licensing requirements with Colombian authorities (ANFR). This includes temporary production licenses, frequency coordination, and compliance documentation. Lead time varies by location and spectrum availability.
What about intercom systems for video village?
We provide complete video village communication including director-to-set comms, camera talkback, script supervisor links, and department coordination. Systems can integrate with wireless video for comprehensive monitoring and communication.
How do you handle equipment for multiple units?
For multi-unit productions, we design coordinated communication plans with separate channels per unit, shared frequencies for key personnel, and cross-unit coordination capabilities. Each unit receives complete equipment packages.
