1RU Mac Mini DIT carts, Toma Uno dailies pipeline and LTO archive across Colombia
Here is how it adds up. Data running on Colombian productions runs through a tight network of DIT carts and dailies labs. Our stations are built around 1RU Mac Mini M2 Ultra heads paired with Promise Pegasus R8, Sonnet xMac mini Server enclosures and 12-bay RAID arrays — enough throughput to handle ARRIRAW, ProRes, RED R3D, Sony X-OCN, Blackmagic BRAW and Canon Cinema RAW from a single setup.
Codex Compact Drive readers, Sony SxS and RED MINI-MAG readers cover every cinema camera body shooting in Colombia. Software stack is Silverstack for offload and reporting, ShotPut Pro as backup workflow, DaVinci Resolve for dailies grading and CDL generation. Field storage runs on G-Tech Shuttle SSD, LaCie Rugged and Samsung T7 / T9 portable SSDs sized for the schedule. Dailies pipeline partners Toma Uno Bogotá, Limonero and Estudio Cuatro Medellín handle same-day delivery into Bogotá and Medellín post houses.
Pacific Chocó humidity (13,000mm rainfall a year) is the toughest data-management environment in the country — drives ship in Pelican cases with desiccant, transfer happens inside climate-controlled tents or rental-house mobile units, and chain-of-custody documents log every offload by hand against the camera reports. Bogotá altitude (2,640m) shaves laptop battery efficiency, so DIT carts ship with extra Anton/Bauer Cine VCLX battery stations when shooting Sierra Nevada or PNN park exteriors.
Multi-camera Mediaset-equivalent or Caracol/RCN broadcast shoots get parallel offload arrays with same-day dailies handoff to Toma Uno via secure courier or encrypted transfer when the location allows. LTO archive through Toma Uno closes out the schedule with detailed metadata, shot reports and retrieval records. DIAN ATA carnets cover imported drives and DIT hardware through Bogotá El Dorado BOG so a complete pipeline is on set day one.
