Motion control in Colombia is a high-end commercial and VFX-plate specialty rather than a permanently stocked rental type, so production mostly imports Mark Roberts Motion Control MILO and Bolt high-speed cinebot rigs via DIAN ATA carnet from Mexico City, São Paulo or Miami pools, with fitting watched by local Imagen Latina specialty-rig engineers in Bogotá. Stage time books into TIS Studios (the seventy-five-per-cent Paramount-affiliated site in Bogotá), RCN Studios (the largest soundstage in Latin America), Caracol Studios in Bogotá, and the Medellín commercial-stage cluster around Sabaneta.

Here is what we have to work with. Applications cluster in three areas: automotive and beverage commercials for Colombian brands (Bavaria, Postobón, Renault Colombia, Chevrolet Colmotores) plus regional accounts for Coca-Cola FEMSA and AB InBev where Bolt high-speed liquid-pour and product-reveal work demands frame-accurate repeatability. VFX-plate photography supporting the Toma Uno, Limonero and LAMUVI Films post pipeline on series production for Netflix Latin America, Caracol, RCN and Telemundo. And timelapse motion control over Bogotá cityscape rooftops, the Medellín Aburrá Valley and Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta vista plates.

Here is the layout. Gear planning through Imagen Latina and Reel Films covers the supporting infrastructure: dolly track, low-loader mounting, high-speed camera sync to Phantom Flex4K and ARRI Alexa 35 bodies running at Bolt arm speeds, and the SyncBox interconnect needed to lock motion-control data to VFX plates through the local post pipeline. Pre-visualisation runs on Autodesk Maya or Cinema 4D with motion-control keyframe export.

Here is how the work shapes up. Rehearsal time on stage is budgeted explicitly because Colombian agency creative directors mostly want move iteration at the storyboard sign-off stage rather than on-set. Tax-incentive stacking is major: the forty per cent Film Law incentive administered through Proimágenes Colombia plus the CINA cash-rebates scheme apply to qualifying motion-control unit spend.
